Bartholomew Ekene Okafor is a courageous and astute legal practitioner whose practice spans civil and criminal litigation, property and commercial law, and community legal advocacy. Bartholomew is also deeply engaged in community development, serving as the Legal Adviser to the Enugu-Otu Aguleri Development Union and contributing to constitutional reform efforts within his hometown.
Bartholomew began his academic journey at Ubalu Primary School, Utchi, Delta State, and proceeded to Comprehensive Secondary School, Atani, Ogbaru LGA, Anambra State, where he obtained his West African School Certificate. He studied law at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, earning his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with Honors in 2017. He then attended the Nigerian Law School, Yenagoa Campus, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in November 2019, obtaining his Barrister-at-Law (B.L) qualification.
Bartholomew is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Otuocha Branch, where he currently serves as Assistant Secretary. He is also a member of the Constitution Drafting Committee of the Enugu-Otu Aguleri Development Union.
His legal practice covers a broad spectrum including land law, commercial law, property law, corporate law, human rights, banking law, and contract law. His multidisciplinary expertise allows him to navigate complex legal issues with precision and empathy.
